The ADO is DVI-D Active Optical Cable (AOC), features the pass-thru HDCP and the transmission of 1920x1200 at 60Hz (1.65Gbps) up to 100 meters without attenuation. The ADO utilized a cutting edge "Japan-made" perfluorinated Graded-Index Polymer Optical Fiber (GI-POF) technology cable wire that offers high transmission bandwidth with low attenuation. While the typical AOC with Grass Optical Cable (GOF) wires are said to endure the bending radius of 15 to 20mm, POF does not break in small bent of only 5mm radius - it also provides a high flexibility of the resistance to the repeated bending of more than 100K times. POF also provides low power consumption and electromagnetic interference (EMI) free with thin and light weight that makes the ease of carrying and no affection to the integrity of signals in areas of high EMI and radio frequency interference (RFI).
The ADO cable wire is also coated with a fire-retardant plastic jacket compliant with UL444 CMP, plenum cable that ensures the prevention of fire and noxious smoke spread at plenum space installation.
The ADO's each cable connector is specified for source and sink connections. Each connector heads utilizes detachable DVI connector making it easy to pull through conduit or tight spaces.

ADO POF cable is about 30% lighter than normal copper cable. 30 meters of AHO is only around 300g weight with 5mm diameter, equivalent to AWG12.
