Seamless API Integration
The DAV Control Nexus features GPIO ports that support both input and output operation, along with built-in relay outputs. These interfaces enable flexible interaction with external devices such as sensors, switches, and indicators. Using open API commands via Telnet or RS-232 communication, users can trigger Dante routing changes, recall presets, and control external equipment, enabling seamless system automation and integration.
The DAV Control Nexus supports Dante Redundancy through dedicated Primary and Secondary Ethernet ports. By connecting to redundant Dante networks, the system ensures continuous operation even in the event of a network failure. This design enhances reliability and is ideal for mission-critical environments such as live events, broadcast facilities, and permanent AV installations.
By sending API commands over Telnet or network communication, or via RS-232 serial communication, the DAV-CNX1 can be flexibly integrated with major third-party control systems. This enables a wide range of automation and system integration, including external control of Dante routing, system status reference, and preset switching.
